Songwriter's Hall of Fame Museum

New York City

Situated in the newly revitalized Times Square area, the Songwriter's Hall of Fame will be the most complete museum and educational facility devoted to the composers, lyricists, and publishers of American popular music. This institution will be the singular presentation of the work of Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, Eubie Blake, Richard Rodgers, Duke Ellington, LorenzHart, Oscar Hammerstein, and Dorothy Fields, among many other talented american songwriters.

The project consists of a 7,000 s.f. space, including a showcase performance and education space, gift shop, and exhibition galleries. Our firm was responsible for the architectural design, engineering design coordination, and virtual model studies. It was completed in 2001 for the National Academy of Popular Music.
