The Crotona Park Tennis House building serves as a rest area for tennis and baseball players who use Crotona Park and accommodates Parks & Recreation’s District Three head-quarters in the Bronx.
The scope of work called for a complete interior and exterior renovation that included new men’s and women’s bathrooms and locker areas for the players; a new ADA accessible bathroom; and new offices and lockers for the park’s employees. The project included complete upgrades to the architectural envelope, structural system, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems, enlarged public restrooms, a new community meeting room, offices, locker rooms, and storage space. The 2,800 sf renovation was completed in 2004 for the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation.
