Crotona Park Tennis House

Crotona Park Tennis House

The Crotona Park Tennis House project included extensive interior upgrades to the electrical and HVAC systems, enlarged public restrooms, a new meeting room for activities, locker rooms and storage space. The building serves as a rest area for tennis and baseball players who use Crotona Park and accommodates Parks & Recreation’s District Three Headquarters in the Bronx.
The scope of work called for a complete interior renovation that included new men’s and women’s bathrooms and locker areas for the players; a new ADA accessible bathroom, and new offices and lockers for the park’s employees. A new HVAC system was installed on the renovated roof, and new plumbing and electrical systems were provided as well. Also, the exterior masonry facades and access areas to the building were cleaned and repainted. The 2,800 sf renovation was completed in 2004 for the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation.
