Carnegie Libraries: ADA Rehabilitation

Winner of Special Recognition Award from the NYC Art Commission

The Carnegie Libraries have been centers of community life since Andrew Carnegie built them for New York City at the turn of the century. Improving access for the physically challenged in a pleasant and functional manner is the mandate of our society and the goal for this rehabilitation. The design solutions give equal concern to the architectural quality of these landmark structures and preserve them as examples of New York's finest civic architecture.
