Bay Head Residence

Built on a narrow site on the beach at the Jersey Shore, the house is entered from a covered porch with an outdoor fireplace. The three story residence places living, dining, and kitchen on the first floor. All levels are connected by a main hall with a well that allows light to infiltrate from a cupola in the attic to the first floor. A beautiful stained glass window along the north side of the house allows northern light into the house. The second floor has a master bedroom, a den, and four bedrooms each with its own bathroom. The attic has a play room and a second Master Bedroom. All cabinets are built in, including closets. The house is powered efficiently by geothermal energy. A lap pool built on the south side of the house takes advantage of the sun. All levels take full advantage of the splendid views of the Atlantic Ocean.
